TILISIM SHIRT: These are the shirts worn by the Ottoman sultans to protect themselves from evil and disasters, to achieve victory, to find healing and to protect themselves from diseases. It is also described with expressions such as bullet-proof, sword-proof, and happiness-bringing.
 Decorated with teship and calligraphy arts, they have verses and images of healing, protection and abundance from the Quran.
 It was designed by the Ministry of Culture artist Fatma BAYAZIT for decorative purposes, inspired by these talismanic shirts worn by the sultans.
